Still jobless...

Company C's client decided that they want a longer-term commitment than they had originally said--a commitment which I am unable to make at this point. Company B had already let me know that they were unable to make a decision about me within my given time frame, so they'd have to give up. So I'm back to the drawing board. (I did let Company B know that I'm still available, and I sent out resumes to a couple more places; I'm hoping that, for some reason, one of those places will still have an internship available.)

Those pesky Companies... always having to do things the HARD way. Well, hang in there anyway. Good things come to those who can look at just about anything and say "hey, it's a good thing! wow!"

Yeah, it's pretty helpful to keep reminding myself that God works all things together for our good and His glory. :) It gets harder to remember that the longer I go without a job, though... but it's still true!

Heh, Bret. That's pretty profound. I'll have to keep that in mind. It's so true. My most blessed friends are the ones who find blessings in EVERYTHING. Best to you, Mel. I half-sympathize, since I'm looking for summer jobs myself (and seem to be behind the game), but lack the pressure that I'm sure graduation brings.
