I actually had already read the article...however I did show it to dad. He got a good laugh out of it, and so did I.
Don't I remember Dr. Bob making some pretty strong statements against McCain in chapel? I appreciate McCain's "political boldness" in making the statement, but I don't think he's winning any points in that corner...
"I know I've badmouthed you to everyone I know, especially when you invited my archrival over, but now I think you've developed at least enough social skills to not be too embarassing (bless your heart), so I might let you invite me over for dinner."

Yeah, lots of pandering coming from the McCain quadrant. And I too remember DB3 making some pretty strong remarks about this conservative-trying-to-look-like-a-
moderate-without-losing-the-right-or-
the-middle-vote candidate.
Heh.
McCain put in an appearance at my church back in 2000 (or thereabouts)--funny how a BJU-type church was OK to go to, huh?
