Inciting jealousy

I just thought that those of my friends still in "the bubble" would like to know that I'm sitting in the school library wearing shorts, a sleeveless shirt, and sandals.

And I had the blessing of a rather strong coffee aroma in my 10:00 class--much better than the typical "bubble" combination of musty building, aftershave, and body odor! ;-)

Hmm, sounds like someone has an attitude problem! You know, rules are important... :)

I just got done using that line with an interviewer whose first questions was, "Soooooo... why Bob Jones?"

I guess I'd better start thinking about an answer for that question (among others, such as "Tell me about yourself") in case it comes up in any of my interviews in the next couple weeks!

My favorite one so far... "So... What does your resume not tell me about you?"

Ummm. If I have to answer that question, either (a) I'm not a good writer, (b) you're not a good reader, or (c) I didn't want you to know about it.

Tell 'em that you like to eat animal crackers. And that you like to slowly nosh off their heads and appendages before chomping down on the body.

"What does your resume not tell me about you?" Yikes. :)

Of course, you probably have harder interviews than I will--I'm sure there's more competition for jobs in your field! (Yeah, thanks to Sarbanes-Oxley, everybody's practically begging accountants to work for them. Well, sort of.)

Monica, I like your suggested answer. :) Good to hear from you--I was wondering if you were still lurking out there in the blogging world!

Monica--I'll try that one in my next interview and get back with you on how that goes. :-) It might work well if it's a litigation firm...
