Wow. That is really interesting. He makes an excellent point. I'm not sure I'm so ready to attribute quite so much weight to authorial intent. Worship is a personal thing, not a mechanical one. Besides, Ode to Joy's tune would have to go (not that that's a bad thing).

hey Melanie! I came across your blog via someone from camp that linked to your brother. Just thought I'd say hey! Does grad school compare to Dr. Goldsmith's class? =)

Hey, Whitney! Good to hear from you.

Grad school... Some classes aren't too bad. There's one that reminds me a LOT of Dr. Goldsmith's class, actually, but not quite as bad!

yes, well, my cousin also showed me that site, and he DID say "you should do this." =) Therefore, of the two of you, HE will be held legally responsible in a court of law when "PETA" protests the "To Kill A Mockingbird" production next week. Oh, I've said too much.

(Note to readers: Bret is referring to the website of Improv Everywhere, which, if I remember correctly, I first found because Becca linked to it. It's pretty funny. Go check it out.)
