I did not go to this for a variety of reasons.
But, while I'm still not a huge fan of CCM, I don't think I would have minded attending...

I LOVE Casting Crowns! I don't have their second CD yet, but it's on my "to buy" list. Their first CD was an instant favorite in my collection. They came to Florida before I was a fan, and my friend went to see them. I'd probably go if they were in the area and other people wanted to go, but as much as I love them, I usually prefer to hear my favorite music when I'm in the car alone rather than around other people (so I can sing along at the top of my lungs if I so desire).
I'm definitely all about cranking up the music in my car and singing along. I love when I can make my rearview mirror vibrate!
I actually don't have any Casting Crowns music, but I've been reasonably impressed with what I've heard of it. It seems a lot deeper than the "typical" CCM stuff that I've heard before.
Casting Crowns is definitely one of the better groups. Their lyrics are seriously good doctrine. I've only heard the title track from their second CD, but it's fantastic, and I can't wait to get the CD.
